Dear Valued Patient,

We hope this letter finds you and yours in good health.  Our community has been through a lot during this pandemic and all of us are eager to get back to our regular routines.  While many things have changed, one thing remains the same: our commitment to the health and safety of our patients and staff. With the repeal of the statewide mask mandate, and most Covid restrictions being lifted effective June 22, we wanted to inform you that dental practices are largely unaffected by these changes.

While many places may no longer require masking, healthcare facilities including our dental office have been directed by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association (MDA) and the CDC to continue taking certain measures to maintain the safety of our patients and staff.  With that in mind, we will continue to wear masks as well as require all patients to wear a mask while in our office regardless of vaccination status.

We will also continue the daily screenings of our staff and continue to screen all patients and non-employees before entry to our facility. However, our questionnaire has gotten shorter.

As our waiting room must continue to comply with social distancing, patients must call the office upon arrival and we will let you know when to enter.

As always, our mission is to provide exceptional dental care and state-of-the-art infection control has always been top priority. All our current infection control practices will remain in effect, and we will continue to monitor and adhere to the guidelines directed to us by the CDC, ADA and MDA.  We will keep you updated as things progress.

We understand that you may have questions and have included the guidelines given to us for you to review HERE.

We make every decision with careful consideration of our patients and staff.  Thank you for trusting us with your health and safety.  We are grateful for your loyalty and faith in us especially during these trying times.

Sincerely,

The doctors and staff at
Emerald Lake Dental
